Research & Education

Our research underlines a strong link to societal needs and real-life environmental challenges. We endeavor to advance our fundamental knowledge and develop net-zero technologies striving towards Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We conduct interdisciplinary research and foster knowledge transfer of, e.g.,

Value-added upcycling of food waste, yard waste, agro-waste, sludge, plastics, and CO2
Sustainable and low-carbon treatment of incineration ash, EV battery, e-waste, and contaminated soil/sediment
Stormwater harvesting and industrial wastewater treatment for resilient water cycles
